This is a working template for Pumu Labs websites and iOS apps. Review and update bracketed sections before publishing or submitting an app to the App Store.
Who we are
Pumu Labs develops music technology products, including mobile apps such as WaxSets. You can contact us at info@pumulabs.com.
Scope
This policy applies to the Pumu Labs website and to Pumu Labs apps that link to this policy, including [App Name]. Some apps may include additional privacy notices for product-specific features.
Data we collect
Website
The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP address, request metadata, browser information, and security logs.
If Cloudflare Web Analytics or similar monitoring is enabled, we may receive aggregated page view, performance, and usage metrics. Cloudflare states that its Web Analytics product does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not track individual users across customer sites. Cloudflare Pages can add the Web Analytics script automatically when enabled in the Pages project.
Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary cookies for security, traffic management, bot protection, rate limiting, or challenge pages when those Cloudflare features are enabled.
Products and checkout
Our products page may include an embedded Payhip storefront. If you interact with the storefront or checkout, Payhip may process information such as items viewed, cart activity, order details, contact details, IP address, browser/device information, and payment-related information. Payment card details are handled by Payhip's selected payment processors and are not collected by Pumu Labs.
Ads and measurement
If we run Meta ads or install Meta Business Tools, such as Meta Pixel or Conversions API, Meta may collect or receive event data from our website or apps for ad measurement, analytics, matching, targeting, and related advertising purposes. This may include page views, product views, purchases, device/browser information, IP address, cookies, pixels, and hashed contact information where provided for matching.
Apps
Depending on the app and features you use, we may collect or process:
- Account information, such as email address or third-party account identifiers.
- Music collection data you choose to import or create in the app, such as records, tracks, set names, notes, genres, BPM, energy, and related metadata.
- App usage and diagnostics, such as feature usage, crash information, and performance data, if analytics or diagnostics are enabled.
- Support information you send us, such as messages, attachments, and contact details.
- Purchase and commerce information processed through Payhip or payment providers, where you buy a product from us.
- [Add any app-specific data types, including purchases, subscriptions, precise location, contacts, photos, audio, or user-generated content if applicable.]
How we use data
- To provide, maintain, and improve our website and apps.
- To sync, back up, or restore app data where those features are offered.
- To respond to support requests.
- To monitor reliability, performance, abuse, and security.
- To comply with legal obligations.
Third-party services
We may use third-party services to operate our products. Current or planned services may include:
- Cloudflare, for website hosting, security, analytics, and performance monitoring.
- Apple, for App Store distribution, subscriptions, purchases, diagnostics, and platform services.
- Payhip, for storefront embeds, checkout, digital product delivery, taxes, customer communications, and commerce-related cookies.
- Meta, if we use Meta ads, Meta Pixel, Conversions API, App Events, or similar Meta Business Tools for advertising, analytics, measurement, and targeting.
- Supabase, for backend services such as authentication, database, storage, or edge functions where used by an app.
- Discogs, when a user connects a Discogs account or imports music collection data.
- [Add any analytics, crash reporting, payment, email, or support providers before publishing.]
Tracking and advertising
We do not sell personal information. We do not use app data for third-party advertising unless stated in an app-specific notice. If an app or website uses tracking as defined by Apple or applicable law, including Meta advertising tools, we will request consent where required.
Cookies and tracking choices
See our Cookie Policy for more detail on Cloudflare, Payhip, and Meta-related cookies and similar technologies.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. You may also use industry opt-out tools such as Digital Advertising Alliance choices, Your Online Choices, and Meta's own ad settings where available.
Retention and deletion
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing info@pumulabs.com. We may need to keep limited records for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup integrity.
Your choices
- You can choose not to provide optional data.
- You can disconnect third-party integrations, such as Discogs, where supported by the app.
- You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal data by contacting us.
- You can manage Apple platform permissions in iOS Settings.
Children
Our products are not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
International processing
We may process data in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
